 Richmond Farmers Market 

Every Friday 3-6:30 pm, head to the Richmond Town Center (about a 5-minute drive) for a vibrant farmers market. You'll find fresh produce, local crafts, baked goods, live music and more. It's a great way to support local businesses and enjoy a taste of Vermont.

Music Nights at Owl's Head Blueberry Farm
Throughout July, Owl's Head Blueberry Farm in Richmond hosts "Music While You Pick" events on Tuesday evenings. Pick your own blueberries while enjoying live music from local bands. It's a unique and fun way to experience Vermont's agricultural heritage.

Many restaurants and bars in Richmond and the surrounding area host live music throughout the summer. Check out the schedules for places like The Kitchen Table Bistro or The Stone Corral, both in Richmond, The Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, or The Reservoir Restaurant & Tap Room in Waterbury.

Hiking and Biking in the Green Mountains:

Richmond is surrounded by the beautiful Green Mountains, offering endless opportunities for outdoor adventure. Explore trails like the Camel's Hump Trail, the Long Trail, or the Stowe Recreation Path. Or bang a right out of the driveway, another left at the end of the road and hike Hillview Road for quintessential Vermont!

  1. Cool off on a hot summer day at one of the many swimming holes near Richmond. Popular spots include the Bolton Potholes, or literally 5 minutes away, check out the Green Mountain Audubon Nature Center and take The River Trail,  Pack a picnic lunch and make a day of it!

Brewery and Winery Tours:

Vermont is home to a thriving craft beer and wine scene. Take a tour and tasting at a local brewery like Stone Corral Brewery in Richmond or von Trapp Brewing in Stowe. For wine lovers, check out Shelburne Vineyard, or if you'd like a longer drive, Boyden Valley Winery in Cambridge is a pretty drive up Route 15.

Free Summer Concerts at the Shelburne Museum:

If you're heading to The Shelburne Winery anyway, make a day of it and check out The Shelburne Museum in Shelburne. Not only is the museum amazing, but they also host free summer concerts on Thursday evenings throughout July. Enjoy live music in a beautiful setting, and explore the museum's vast collection of art and Americana.
